Lola Clavel

Lola Clavel is a French costume designer based in Hong Kong, with professional experience across Europe, Australia, and Asia. She began her career in Paris, where she trained at the Paris Opera House in costume design, tailoring, and pattern making. There, she contributed to the creation of costumes for a range of opera and ballet productions, developing a strong foundation in both craftsmanship and performance wear. Since establishing her studio in Hong Kong in 2022, Lola has continued to develop her own design practice while contributing to notable productions and collaborations, including projects with Hong Kong Ballet, French May Arts Festival Chung Ying Theatre, M+ Museum, Tatler Hong Kong, and Louis Vuitton. Working across fashion and performance, Lola’s practice spans opera, ballet, theatre, and film. She collaborates closely with directors, choreographers, and performers to create costumes that support movement and strengthen visual storytelling.
